What Does RVV Cable Mean?
RVV cable is a type of Chinese standard multi-core cable. The full name is Copper Core PVC Insulated PVC Sheathed Flexible Cable.
- Letter R: Stands for “soft conductor,” indicating a flexible wire.
- Letter V: Stands for “insulator,” made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
Characteristics of RVV Cable:
- PVC Sheath: Provides protection and durability.
- Flame Retardant: Helps prevent fire hazards.
- Rated Temperature: -40º C to +70º C.
