What is PUR Cable?

Pur cables generally refer to cables with Pur sheathing. These cables use polyurethane as the outer sheath, and the insulation is usually PE, Rubber or PVC. 

These cables are often used outdoors, in chemical plants, or in harsh environments.

What is the difference between pur and pvc cable?

Pur is a relatively unique sheathing material. Its processing costs and processing difficulty are both higher than those of PVC. These factors result in the market prices of such cables being generally higher than those of PVC cables of the same specifications.

PVC, while economical and versatile, is not low-smoke and halogen-free, which has led many purchasers and manufacturers to reject it.

However, PUR is low-smoke and halogen-free. Its classic models, H07BQ-F and H05BQ-F, are highly suitable for power supply and control applications in outdoor industrial environments.
