Fire Resistant Cable

Fire-resistant cables are able to maintain a normal power supply for a period of time in the event of a fire. This feature determines the important role that fire-resistant cables play in modern urban and industrial buildings. Because in the event of a fire, the power supply circuits of the control, monitoring, guiding, and alarming systems must be maintained in order to function properly. 

Theseforce, they are mainly used in the power supply circuits from the emergency power supply to the user’s fire fighting equipment, fire alarm equipment, ventilation and smoke extraction equipment, pilot lights, emergency power sockets, and emergency lifts.

Fire Resistant Cable Types

Cables by Fire resistance level

Standard Type: Fire retardant but not guaranteed to function properly

FE180/E30: The cable insulation will be still intact when exposed to flame for 180 mins. 

                    The cable will be still working well in the first 30 min.

FE180/E90: The cable insulation will be still intact when exposed to flame for 180 mins. 

                    The cable will be still working well in the first 90 min.

Application and Cases

2. Fire shutter door, electric fire door, fan of smoke prevention and exhaust system, smoke exhaust valve and fire damper;

3. Fire alarm system, fire broadcasting and telephone lines;

4. Security closed-circuit television lines in high-rise buildings or important facilities such as airports and subways;

5. Emergency lighting wiring, control and protection power cables;

6. Important relay protection lines and operation power lines in large and medium-sized power substations and distribution centers;

7. Computer monitoring cables.

Fire-resistant cables are widely used in high-rise buildings, underground railways, underground streets, large power stations and important industrial and mining enterprises, and other places related to fire safety and fire life-saving, such as power supply lines and control lines for fire-fighting equipment and emergency facilities such as emergency guide lights.

Building Fire Alarm System

We offer JE-H(St)H type cables for alarm systems, N2XH-FE180/E90 N2XCH FE180/E30 for emergency power supply in case of fire. These cables provide power for fire water booster systems, ventilation systems, alarm systems, and fire elevators in case of fire.
